A 2¼ square roll film negative. A deck view of the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. The photographer is looking forward from the foremast upper platform. In the foreground are the 'eyes' of the Mark 6M director overlooking the gunnery direction officer's platform above the bridge, the 4.5 inch gun turret and the forecastle. There is no flag at the jackstaff indicating that this photograph was taken prior to commissioning on 24 March 1960. The projecting aerial on the left is the APH aerial.
