A 2¼ square roll film negative. A deck view of the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. The photographer is looking forward and slightly to starboard from the port side aft on the quarterdeck. In the right foreground is a rope reel, mooring pendant reel and berthing reel with two liferafts beyond. To port of the liferafts is the unifoxer winch and all of these have canvas covers. In the well between the two 1 deck wings are the two Limbo Mark 10 mortars. The aft superstructure with a single 40 mm bofors gun mounted on it, the mainmast and the foremast are in the background. The ship's aft bell is on the extreme right.
