In the asdic control room on the starboard side of 1 deck between 35½ and 39 stations looking aft and to starboard. In the centre is the C.O's chair on a raised platform. Against the starboard side of the ship are the Type 177 asdic cabinets with the range operator on the left, the bearing operator in the centre and the doppler operator on the right. On the aft bulkhead is the pitometer log speed indicator. On the extreme right are the Type 170B asdic dome controls and the stabiliser indicating lamp box.
