A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the bosun's store, lamp and paint room on 2 deck between 2½ and 6 stations. The photographer is looking forward and to port. Large coils of rope of various sizes are on the right. The hatch into the bow watertight compartment is padlocked and to the left of the hatch is a steel cupboard with drums of white paint powder on it. A 3-door steel cupboard is at high level on the forward bulkhead. On the left is a work bench.
