A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the gunbay on 2 deck between 20½ and 25½ stations. The photographer is looking forward and to starboard from the port side showing bays 1, 2, 3 and 4. Bay 1 on the left contains a cartridge ready use locker, in bay 2 is a rectifier, a motor generator is in bay 3 and a steel tool cupboard with an heavy duty vice is in bay 4. The shell and cartridge troughs encircle the gun turret revolving platform on the right. On the revolving platform is a notice 'Beware. Do not mount unless green light burns'. Below the notice is a lubrication chart for gear below the turntable.
