Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion.
A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the gunbay on 2 deck between 20½ and 25½ stations. The photographer is looking forward on the port side of the bay showing bays 12, 13, 14 and 15. Bay 12 contains a rectifier unit and an emergency lamp is on the girder between bays 11 and 12. Bay 13 has a ready use cartridge locker, bay 14 is vacant and bay 15 has the shell hoist. The shell and cartridge troughs encircle the gun turret revolving platform on the right.
