Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion.
A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the gunbay on 2 deck between 20½ and 25½ stations. The photographer is looking at the gun turret revolving platform showing the shell and cartridge troughs encircling the platform. The cartridge trough is the lower set of rails and is shown where it passes into the revolving platform. A notice on the trunk of the platform reads: 'Beware. Do not mount unless green light burns'.
