Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion.
A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the crew's galley on the starboard side of 2 deck between 41 and 44 stations. The photographer is looking forward and to starboard. On the left is a steam oven with two large boiling pans next to it. against the starboard side of the ship is a bench with shelves under it. The scuttle is open and to the right of the scuttle is the control panel for the deep fat fryer by Moorwoods of Sheffield.
