A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the P.Os mess on the port side of 2 deck between 49 and 55¾ stations. The photographer is looking forward along the starboard side showing a pair of bunks, the doorway, a letter rack and a greatcoat locker with pairs of kit lockers on the right. There are no soft furnishings.
