A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the No. 2 mortar handing room on the starboard side of 2 deck between 62½ and 66½ stations. The photographer is looking to starboard from the doorway at the aft end of the space showing the weapon control panel on the right with the depth setting control beyond it. On the ship's side is the charging panel with a transformer to the right of it. On the left is the framework for the mortar loading racks.
