A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the No. 2 mortar handing room on the starboard side of 2 deck between 62½ and 66½ stations. The photographer is looking forward from the aft end of the space showing the mortar loading racks and power rammer machinery, which was manufactured by C.P.C. Southampton Ltd, on the left. On the ship's side on the right is the charging panel in the foreground with junction boxes beyond and a pump on the deck.
