A starboard broadside view of the White Star Line cruise ship Calgaric (1918) at anchor in Geirangerfjord off Merok, Norway. She has bunting at her foremast and mainmast and two sets of boat davits, one amidships and one aft, are swung out over the side where the boats have been launched. One of her boats is alongside the aft accommodation ladder and another is passing her bow heading for the shore.
The Calgaric undertook eight cruises in Scandinavian waters between 1928 and 1933 and she was used for a cruise to the Baltic and North Sea by the Boy Scouts and Girl Guides under Lord Baden Powell, the so-called Peace Cruise of the Boy Scout movement, 12-29 August, 1933.
