The Calgaric undertook eight cruises in Scandinavian waters between 1928 and 1933 and she was used for a cruise to the Baltic and North Sea by the Boy Scouts and Girl Guides under Lord Baden Powell, the so-called Peace Cruise of the Boy Scout movement, 12-29 August, 1933.
