Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion.

A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the main passage on 2 deck at station 57 looking aft and to starboard. In the extreme left foreground is the hatch down to the engineroom with an emergency lamp and a power panel on the bulkhead above it. A coil of cable is on the end of the damage control locker. A compressor unit with a noticeboard, emergency connection box and distribution panel is on the starboard outer bulkhead and an air compressor, transformer, power panel, emergency lamp and distribution panel are on the aft outer bulkhead with the open hatch leading to the accommodation on 3 deck in front of it. Fire extinguishing equipment, fuse and distribution boxes, a telephone and a tannoy are on the starboard inner bulkhead and the door to the mortar well is on the extreme right with the sick bay door to the left.
