A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the main passage on 2 deck at 17 station looking aft. In the foreground is the hatch over the Type 174, Hull Outfit 20 asdic trunk and beyond it are two hatches leading to 3 deck messes. On the left are an emergency connection box, a breathing apparatus locker with hoses wrapped around it, fuse panels and an emergency change over switch and connection box. On the right are the door to the P.Os. mess and some connection panels. On the far bulkhead is a transformer with a breathing apparatus cabinet and associated hoses above it. A rope ladder is suspended under an escape scuttle in the deckhead.
