In the lobby on 3 deck between 31 and 34 stations. The photographer is looking forward and to starboard showing the stairs up to 2 deck and the hatch leading down to the cooled provision rooms on 4 deck. On the right is the door to the conversion machinery room and to the left of the door are the starter control boxes for the hull and fire pump. Next to them are a fuse panel with an emergency change over switch and connection box above it. Various control valves for the hull and fire pump are beyond the stairs and an emergency lamp is on a pillar on the left.
