A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the boiler room on 4 deck between 39¾ and 49 stations. The photographer is looking forward and to port at the face of the port boiler. Part of the port boiler console is on the right. The boiler is fitted with six burners and has a Lucas torch igniter. A Numarine impeller pump on flexible mountings is on the left.
