A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the boiler room on 4 deck between 39¾ and 49 stations. The photographer is looking forward and to starboard at the face of the starboard boiler showing the six burners. In the foreground is the Megator secondary bilge pump with an engineer's desk over it. Beyond the desk on the boiler front is the Lucas torch igniter. On the right is the starboard forward evaporator.
