A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the engine room on 4 deck between 49 and 57 stations. The photographer is on the main control platform looking forward and to port from between the main engine controls showing the indicator dials for the feed tanks, turbine exhausts, air ejector suction, lub-oil pump discharge and lub-oil filters. On the right are the gauges for pump discharges, manifolds, main and auxiliary steam, firemain and boiler air inlets. The clock is reading 01.35. A telephone switchboard and acoustic booth are on the left.
