Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion.
A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the engine room on 4 deck between 49 and 57 stations. The photographer is on the main platform between the main control position for the two turbines looking forward and to starboard. On the left is an emergency lamp and gauges for manifolds, pump discharges, firemain, air inlet to starboard boiler and port and starboard turbine temperatures. A valve for the steam deaerator is above the turbine temperature gauges. On the right are the starboard engine order bell and control wheel.
