Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion.
A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the seamen's mess on 3 deck between 68 and 75 stations. The photographer is looking aft and to port from the starboard forward corner showing three mess tables with bench seats. Hammock stowage and bunk settees are against the starboard side and a radiator is on the side of the hammock stowage. Kit lockers are next to the access hatch to the emergency steering compartment in the aft bulkhead. A nest of tea and sugar lockers is at the aft end of the kit lockers on the centreline.
