A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the seamen's mess on 3 deck between 68 and 75 stations. The photographer is looking to port from the starboard forward corner showing two mess racks with tea and sugar lockers and kit lockers under on the left. On the right are kit lockers, a greatcoat locker and a hatch down to 4 deck. On the port side of the ship are two greatcoat lockers. A vertical format negative.
