A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the naval store on 4 deck between 12½ and 15½ stations. The photographer is looking to port from the starboard side at the aft end of the compartment. The compartment is fitted out with steel storage racks with lift off wooden guard rails. The ladder leading up to 3 deck is on the left. A vertical format negative.
