A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the 4.5 inch shell magazine on 4 deck between 19 and 23 stations. The photographer is looking forward and to port from the aft end of the magazine. On the left is the shell hoist and beyond it are shelves for the stowage of 0.303 inch ball in chargers and in bandoliers and for 9 mm ball. On the right are a rope ladder, a stool and a ladder leading up to the seamen's mess on 3 deck.
