A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the plummer block compartment on the port side of 4 deck between 57 and 59 stations. The photographer is looking down and to starboard and aft from the access ladder to port showing the plummer block (propeller shaft bearings) and the torsion meter of the port propeller shaft and the shaft aperture in 59 station.
