Hardy (1953). Inside the main communications office.
A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Blackwood class type 14 frigate Hardy (1953) at Gibraltar. In the main communications office between stations 22½ and 27½ on the port side of 1 deck. The photographer is looking forward from the centre of the compartment showing four Power Equipment Company Powquip teleprinters on the left. Spare printer rolls are stored underneath the middle (number 3) teleprinter. A safe is against the forward bulkhead and a clock is reading 8.33. On the right side of the forward bulkhead are A.W.A. whip control units and on the right are four control circuit exchange lower units labelled A, B, C and D.
