Hardy (1953). Inside the main communications office.
A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Blackwood class type 14 frigate Hardy (1953) at Gibraltar. In the main communications office between stations 22½ and 27½ on the port side of 1 deck. The photographer is looking aft and to port into the corner from the centre of the office showing two large Racal receiver cabinets on flexible mountings on the deck, each fitted with a fan on the top. An Imperial typewriter is on a shelf on the left against the aft bulkhead with a swivel chair in front of it. A vertical format negative.
