Hardy (1953). Inside the main communications office.
A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Blackwood class type 14 frigate Hardy (1953) at Gibraltar. In the main communications office between stations 22½ and 27½ on the port side of 1 deck. The photographer is looking forward and to port from the centre of the office showing a printing machine and a filing tray on top of a two drawer filing cabinet on the left. Above is a nest of pigeon holes with file and manual racks at high level. Two tall racks containing various electronic units are in the centre and one has spare cables stored on the side. On the right are teleprinter bays. A vertical format negative.
