A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. In the conversion machinery room on the starboard side of 4 deck between 45 and 48 stations. The photographer is looking aft and to port into the port aft corner of the compartment showing two small motors. On the aft bulkhead are an automatic change over switch, a fuse panel and a speed and distance transmitter. A fuse panel is on the port bulkhead. A wooden Marconi spares packing case is in the foreground. A vertical format negative.
