A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Rothesay class type 12 frigate Rhyl (1959) in Devonport Dockyard. In the technical library on the port side of 3 deck between 16½ and 19 stations. The photographer is looking aft and slightly to port showing the librarian's seat at a table which has nests of 190 x 240 mm lockable drawers under it. A board containing vertical racks of filing cards is above the table and an high level cupboard is against the aft bulkhead. The photograph was taken prior to 9 May 1972. A vertical format negative.
