A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Rothesay class type 12 frigate Rhyl (1959) in Devonport Dockyard. In the naval store on 3 deck between 8 and 12½ stations. The photographer is looking forward and to starboard from near the watertight hatch leading down the the Hull outfit 15 type 170B sonar on 4 deck. A radiator and the storekeeper's desk and cupboards are against the ship's side. A rack is on the left comprising metal drawers at low level with open shelves above. The photograph was taken prior to 9 May 1972. A vertical format negative.
