A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Rothesay class type 12 frigate Rhyl (1959) in Devonport Dockyard. In the crew's servery on 2 deck between 44 and 46½ stations. The photographer is looking forward and slightly to starboard from the doorway showing the serving counter with hot cupboards under on the left. A stainless steel worktop and cupboard unit is on the forward bulkhead with a Moorwood Vulcan multi-slice toaster mounted above it and a meat slicer in the corner. On the right is a worktop and shelf unit with the arched entrance into the preparing space beyond it. The photograph was taken prior to 9 May 1972.
