A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Rothesay class type 12 frigate Rhyl (1959) in Devonport Dockyard. In the P.Os mess on the starboard side of 2 deck between 56 and 61½ stations. The photographer is looking to starboard from near the door showing a settee berth on the left, a coffee table and armchairs in the centre with a dresser, bookshelf, loadspeaker, tannoy and fan ventilation unit against the ship's side. The photograph was taken prior to 9 May 1972.
