A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Rothesay class type 12 frigate Rhyl (1959) in Devonport Dockyard. In the main communication office on the starboard side of 2 deck between 32½ and 35 stations. The photographer is looking into the aft starboard corner showing the radio state board on the end of a curtained off electronics unit. A Power Equipment Company Powquip teleprinter is in the corner bay with a CJC unit above it and a morse key on the right of it. In the foreground is a desk with a duplicating machine on it. The watch board, an area risk state board, fuse boxes and power panels are on the aft bulkhead. The photograph was taken prior to 9 May 1972.
