A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Rothesay class type 12 frigate Rhyl (1959) in Devonport Dockyard. In the junior rates mess on 3 deck between 68 and 75 stations. The photographer is looking aft from the near the centreline of the mess showing kit lockers on the left with an ironing board stored against the side of them. A triple tier bunk unit rigged for sitting is on the right. A radiac detector head assembly panel is on the aft bulkhead. The photograph was taken prior to 9 May 1972. A vertical format negative.
