A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Rothesay class type 12 frigate Rhyl (1959) in Devonport Dockyard. In the sick bay on 2 deck between 59 and 61½ stations. The photographer is looking forward and to starboard from the doorway showing the folding operating table on the left. On the deck is a large box containing boxes of Elastoplast and lint dressings. An Imperial 66 typewriter is on a two drawer filing cabinet. On the right are two swinging cots and a wash basin. The door to the bathroom is in the forward bulkhead and it has a first aid bag hanging on it. The photograph was taken prior to 9 May 1972.
