A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Rothesay class type 12 frigate Rhyl (1959) in Devonport Dockyard. In the C.P.Os mess on the starboard side of 2 deck between 61½ and 67 stations. The photographer is looking aft on the starboard side of the mess showing triple tier bunk units rigged for sleeping. An electric fire and a fan ventilation unit are on the aft bulkhead and an airtight plenham chamber hatch isin the bulkhead. A wooden tool chest is on the deck. The photograph was taken prior to 9 May 1972.
