A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Rothesay class type 12 frigate Rhyl (1959) in Devonport Dockyard. In the laundry on the starboard side of 2 deck between 66½ and 71 stations. The photographer is looking forward and to starboard showing a Rhodes & Westlake 'Breezette' tumble dryer and a washing machine. A well lagged boiler is on the forward bulkhead. In the foreground are a number of spanners on a sorting table. The photograph was taken prior to 9 May 1972. A vertical format negative.
