A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Rothesay class type 12 frigate Rhyl (1959) in Devonport Dockyard. In the senior rates dining hall on the starboard side of 2 deck between 49 and 52 stations. The photographer is looking forward and to starboard showing six folding tables, nine tubular steel chairs and a settee bench. An electric fire is on the forward bulkhead and a tannoy is on the ship's side. Two scuttles are open. The photograph was taken prior to 9 May 1972.
