A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Rothesay class type 12 frigate Rhyl (1959) in Devonport Dockyard. In the wardroom on the starboard side of 2 deck between 35 and 41 stations. The photographer is looking forward and to starboard from the centre of the wardroom showing the dark cloth covered table pointing to the corner with nine floral covered chairs round it. A televison set is on the shelf on the forward bulkhead and inboard of it are framed photographs of H.M. Queen Elizabeth and H.R.H. The Duke of Edinburgh, the duke being in the uniform of an Admiral of the Fleet. Potted plants are also on this shelf. The photograph was taken prior to 9 May 1972.
