A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Rothesay class type 12 frigate Rhyl (1959) in Devonport Dockyard. In the passageway on 2 deck between stations 41 and 49 looking aft. A damage control station is on the left including a fire extinguisher, a smoke mask cabinet with an air hose wrapped round it and a fire hose storage and connection point. In the background are drums of chemical foam. The scullery lobby is on the right with eight junction boxes on the bulkhead ahead of the provision issue room. The watertight door at 49 station is open. The photograph was taken prior to 9 May 1972. A vertical format negative.
