A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Rothesay class type 12 frigate Rhyl (1959) in Devonport Dockyard. In the passageway on 2 deck between stations 49 and 61 looking forward. On the right are three fire extinguishers and a fire hose storage point. On the left two men are working in an alcove and beyond them are further hose storage points and stowage for drums of chemical foam liquid. Two tannoys are under the deckhead and more men are in the passageway near 52 station. The photograph was taken prior to 9 May 1972. A vertical format negative.
