A 35mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier Hermes (1953) in Devonport Dockyard in June 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is below decks in a large galley and servery. On the right are four large boiling coppers. A door is in the end bulkhead and to the right of the door is an automatic emergency lantern. A noticeboard and a worktop with shelves under are on the left. The photographer has allocated the number 4 to this location.
