A 35mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier Hermes (1953) in Devonport Dockyard in June 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is below decks in a large galley and servery looking into a corner showing two sink units with shelves above. In the foreground are stacks of roasting tins and a machine of unknown type. Duckboards are stored at high level on the right. The photographer has allocated the number 4 to this location.
