A 35mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier Hermes (1953) in Devonport Dockyard in June 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is below decks in a dining hall. Three tables and a number of tubular steel chairs are laid out. A television, a baseboard for a clock, a telephone, a glass fronted double door cupboard and a shelf rack are against the far bulkhead. The photographer has allocated the number 5 to this location.
