Hermes (1953). In a food and drink area, probably the wardroom scullery, on 4 deck during conversion.

A 35mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier Hermes (1953) in Devonport Dockyard in June 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is in a food and drink area with a tile covered deck, probably the wardroom scullery, on 4 deck, showing a stainless steel worktop with a shelf and cutlery boxes under and a shelf and first aid cabinet above. On the right is an Hobart dishwasher. Three ratings' caps can be seen. The photographer has allocated the number 10 to this location.
