A 35mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier Hermes (1953) in Devonport Dockyard in June 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is in the wardroom galley and preparation space on 2 deck between 207 and 224 stations. He is looking to port in the aft end of the preparation space showing a Lec ice cream hardening cabinet next to an ice cream machine. A stainless steel bench is in the corner with a cupboard under for ice cream equipment. In the right foreground is a mincer and mixer machine. The photographer has allocated the number 11 to this location.
