A 35mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier Hermes (1953) in Devonport Dockyard in June 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is in the junior rates dining hall starboard scullery on 4 deck between 59 and 62½ stations. He is looking to starboard and aft showing an Hobart dishwasher on the right. The worktop in front of the door is hinged up and a sink is in the left worktop. The photographer has allocated the number 12 to this location.
