A 35mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier Hermes (1953) in Devonport Dockyard in June 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is in the junior rates dining hall port scullery on 4 deck between 59 and 62½ stations. He is looking to port and forward showing the stainless steel worktop and sink. Plate racks are above the sink and the worktop flap in front of the door is down. The photographer has allocated the number 13 to this location.
