A 35mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier Hermes (1953) in Devonport Dockyard in June 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is in the bridge on 01 deck looking forward and to port from the starboard aft corner. A speaking tube is on the right and on the forward bulkhead are a speed indicator and a telephone with four identical Wynn electrical boxes below. To the left of the sliding window are two pairs of dials. A table is against the rear bulkhead.
